Meet the Buss Family
Before kids, Carrie and Carrick Buss traveled some, but with a tight budget, international travel wasn't a reality. After kids, they made traveling a priority and have never looked back. If there's fun to be had, they'll find it.
With degrees in English and Literature, Carrie is an excellent writer. As an accomplished musician, she lends a creative touch to Along for the Trip that makes it unique. Carrie is a library media specialist by profession which allows her to be tuned in to kids and families every single day. Oh, and she loves books.
Carrick has almost 20 years of experience in computers and IT bringing excellent technical skills to the mix. He is also a solid copywriter and editor. With a degree in music, he makes sure the kids get a good dose of culture as well as fun everywhere they travel.
Andrew (12) and Cadence (10) round out the Buss family and interject their own unique brand of humor and fun to the mix. Occasionally you will find their writing on the blog as well.
