Iowa may be known for it's corn, but it really surprised us with it's kid-friendliness and it's a great state for a road trip! Dubuque is rich with history (Iowa's first city) and is becoming a fun city to explore for foodies. Take a drive around Madison County to find some of their famous covered bridges, or even visit some of Iowa's National Park sites and Heritage Areas.
